Potentia was formed three years ago next month by former Alligator Digital directors Suzy Hassan and Colin Clifford, and offers customer surveys, online panels and communities; as well as an analytics division based around SigDiff, the first company it acquired, in 2023.
Second Opinion includes professionals from across the NHS, private healthcare and social care settings, including hard-to-reach workers across the UK. The firm says it is dedicated to 'ethical, robust and representative research among those working on the frontline and behind the scenes.'
Nurses, doctors, allied health professionals, pharmacists, mental health practitioners and care workers can register for paid research, to share their medical knowledge, experience and views across all aspects of the medical and caring professions.
'Healthcare professionals and carers are under enormous pressure,' says Commercial Director Colin Clifford (pictured), 'yet their insight has never been more critical. Potentia Health allows us to bring sharper focus to this sector, and Second Opinion offers organisations an ethical, high-quality and reliable way to hear directly from the people delivering care every day.'
Partner charity Concerts for Carers supports the wellbeing of NHS staff and paid carers by providing access to live events, and joined with Potentia to create the panel as 'a meaningful way [for its community' to influence the future of healthcare while being compensated for their time.' For the organisation, Terence Abbott comments: 'We're delighted to partner with Potentia Insight on Second Opinion. It's another way for us to celebrate and empower people working across health and care by giving them a platform to influence policies, services and innovation.'
