GBK Promotes Szew to Chief Client Officer Role

In New York, consumer behavior, and analytics consultancy GBK Collective has promoted Rebecca Szew to Partner and Chief Client Officer.

Rebecca SzewThe company was co-founded in 2015 by Eric Bradlow, Vice Dean of AI and Analytics at The Wharton School, and combines academic expertise and real-world corporate experience to provide bespoke service promising 'practical and actionable solutions to real issues.' Originally known as GBH, it changed its name five years ago to represent its Partners Jon Greenwood, Bradlow and Jeremy Korst - at the same time promoting Szew to EVP, Research and Insights. Last month it brought in former NRG leader and Ipsos exec Ben Rogers as President, Client Services.

Szew is based in LA and holds a BA in Marketing and International Business from the University of Arizona. She joined the firm early in 2018 as SVP, Insights; having previously spent more than fourteen years at Kantar Millward Brown, latterly as SVP, Client Services. Earlier, she worked at IRI as Marketing Research Manager. Her newly expanded role includes overseeing client research design and thought leadership, partnering closely with Rogers.

Greenwood describes Szew as 'a rare talent who brings both depth and clarity to even the most complex client challenges.' He adds: 'leadership, strategic thinking, and commitment to excellence have shaped how we apply better insights to drive results for our clients. I'm thrilled to see her take on the Chief Client Officer role as we continue to grow and evolve.'
