Board Appointment for Rival Group

In Vancouver, Rival Group has appointed Chartered Accountant, audit and governance expert Judy Adam to its Board of Directors.

Rival Group brings together Rival Technologies' mobile-first platform, the panel operations of the second Angus Reid Group (ARG), and the consulting teams at Reach3 and ARG, to form 'Canada's largest independent research company.'

Adam brings more than 30 years of experience guiding public companies through growth, transformation and complex market shifts, with expertise in governance, audit, risk management, capital markets and strategic transactions. She has worked in CFO roles across the media and entertainment, consumer products and cannabis retail sectors, most recently at Boat Rocker Media. Earlier, she spent 20 years in senior finance roles at Corus Entertainment.

Rival Group says the move further strengthens its governance and financial oversight as it continues to scale. According to Co-CEO and Chief Methodologist Jennifer Reid: 'Judy is exactly the kind of person you want in the room when you're building for the long term. She understands growth, but she also understands discipline.
