Data Quality Co-op (DQC) and Dig Insights have teamed up to embed independent, continuous data quality validation across the latter's new Dig One platform, which combines social insights and agile testing.
Officially launched nearly a year ago, DQC is an independent company offering continuous quality measurement and real-time quality certification, by aggregating, analyzing and benchmarking data quality signals - helping researchers and research buyers to clean data and improve quality workflows. Toronto, Canada-based Dig Insights has more than 250 staff, and has recently integrated its proprietary, mobile-first innovation insights platform Upsiide with technology from an acquisition, OneCliq. The latter provides a 'Cultural Context Engine' analysing consumer emotion across online content and conversations in real time, and the integration has resulted in a new offer called Dig One, aiming to replace 'static' and 'episodic' outputs with a 'living' system of connected and continuously-updated insights.
The new partnership sees DQC's offering, including its newly launched Data Trust Score, supplier benchmarking and quality APIs, integrated into Dig's end-to-end platform, with Dig's data quality process independently certified. The latter will provide continuous, live-status confirmation of Dig's quality standards, and requires alignment across third-party suppliers and clear visibility into how quality is monitored over time.
'Dig has always taken data quality seriously,' says its CEO Paul Gaudette. 'This partnership allows us to turn the dial further by pairing our internal standards and innovation with independent, industry-level validation, so clients can have even greater confidence in the data informing their decisions.' DQC's Katie Casavant (pictured) adds: 'Dig is demonstrating what it looks like to move beyond point-in-time quality checks toward a system where trust is measured, shared and improved continuously.'
