Promotions and New Sydney Office for TRA

The Australian wing of The Research Agency (TRA) has announced a number of senior promotions and a new Sydney headquarters to house its rapidly expanding team.

Founded in New Zealand, TRA offers a range of services including research, strategy, behavioural science, cultural analysis, data and analytics, design and new venture development. The company established a Sydney office with four employees in 2022, and now has fourteen staff in Australia, with additional roles being recruited. The team is moving from its office in The Commons to a new headquarters in Surry Hills, described as an 'iconic building' and fitted out in consultation with architect José Gutiérrez, who also led the full architectural refurbishment of the firm's Auckland headquarters. The new Sydney office has space for up to 30 people.

The firm has also promoted Ferne McKinley from Account Director to Senior Account Director, after seven years at the company; Gemma Hall from Account Lead to Account Director; and Charlotte Saunders from Qualitative Lead to Senior Qualitative Lead. Sophie Cooper will return to the company in May as Senior Account Director - all are based in Sydney.

In Melbourne, Karthik Krishnamurthy has been promoted from Senior Consultant to Account Lead.
