New York-based video campaign delivery and analysis firm Simulmedia has appointed Justin Nesci as Chief Commercial Officer, and Adam Gaynor in the new role of SVP and General Manager of its self-serve CTV ad platform Skybeam.
Simulmedia's Performance TV suite is powered by a patented, AI-driven TV+ analytics and activation platform and delivers targeted video ad campaigns across all streaming and linear channels for more than 100 top brands. It claims to be 'the only company to guarantee campaign performance, whether the goal is reach, custom targeting, or ROI'.
Nesci (pictured above) brings experience of cross-platform sales and digital transformation, joining the firm from iHeartMedia, where he served most recently as EVP of Advanced Audio and Data Revenue. Previously he held leadership roles at Viacom (now Paramount) and Fox Interactive Media. In his new role he reports directly to founder and CEO Dave Morgan, and will oversee the company's global sales, marketing, and go-to-market strategy, working closely with the CFO and Chief Product & Technology Officer, and mentoring the sales team in the company's NYC headquarters.
'Justin is a rare leader who possesses the raw intelligence, wisdom and deep industry relationships required to navigate this complexity,' says Morgan. 'He's a builder, a strategist, and a world-class coach who understands that the future of TV belongs to those who can deliver measurable business outcomes across every screen. We are thrilled to have him lead our commercial team into this next era of growth.'
Gaynor (pictured below) is a veteran of the advanced advertising and streaming space, and will lead the growth and evolution of Skybeam, also reporting directly to Morgan. He will oversee all aspects of the Skybeam business, including product innovation, go-to-market strategy, and revenue growth. He brings more than two decades of leadership experience, including executive roles at Locality, where he oversaw sales and marketing; VIZIO, where he led industry-wide addressable television initiatives; and AMC Networks, leading advanced advertising and data-driven sales. Earlier he worked at DISH Network, helping to launch the company's addressable advertising platform.
Morgan describes Gaynor as 'a proven builder who has spent his career at the intersection of traditional television and the digital future.' He adds: 'As advertisers increasingly demand the same precision and ease of use in TV that they expect from search and social, Skybeam is the solution. Adam's deep expertise in programmatic, streaming, and linear ecosystems makes him the perfect leader to scale this platform and empower a new generation of performance-driven marketers.'
