Disrupt Insight has appointed former Opinium and Walnut Unlimited researcher Hannah Reed as an Associate Director, strengthening its growing qualitative and cultural insight capabilities.
Disrupt was formed two and a half years ago by former Walnut Unlimited execs Chris Bland and Matt Rice-Haynes, and grew rapidly last year, with appointments including Dr Lauren Greehy as Research Manager and Sandy McDougall as Head of Media Effectiveness.
Reed (pictured) joins after nearly four years at Walnut Unlimited (latterly part of Accenture Song) where she became an AD eight months ago. Prior to this she spent just over a year as a JRE and RE at Opinium. She also worked in analyst and strategist roles at fashion community FashMash and ad services firm Human Theory. Her experience includes helping brands translate shifting cultural and societal dynamics into commercially impactful strategies; and she is part of leadership team of MRS young researchers' network &More.
'We're really chuffed to have Hannah on board,' says Rice-Haynes. 'She's properly plugged into culture, and has that knack of turning messy, human behaviour into something clear and useful; which is exactly what our clients need. She's going to make a big impact here.' MD Bland welcomes her 'strong strategic head, deep qualitative expertise and genuine curiosity about people and culture.'
The company, which says it has now doubled in size since last year, is online at www.disrupt-insight.com .
