Media planning and measurement platform VideoAmp has announced new first-party data integrations with SiriusXM Media and National CineMedia (NCM), strengthening its cross-platform planning solution VXP.
VideoAmp is headquartered in Los Angeles and New York with offices across the US, was founded in 2014 as a platform for buying, measuring and optimizing digital video ads. In the last few years it has ramped up its services as a cross-platform measurement currency competing with Nielsen.
Its latest deal enables advertisers for the first time to plan campaigns across streaming, CTV, digital video, audio and cinema environments within a unified framework. The new partners join the likes of AMC Networks, Disney, FOX, Paramount and Snap, all of whom are using VideoAmp's patented clean room infrastructure. VXO is based around this technology, and brings together signals based on high-quality datasets from all the above environments.
According to VideoAmp CRO Bryan Goski (pictured), 'Every new first-party integration makes VXP more powerful and more representative of how audiences actually consume media. With SiriusXM Media bringing digital audio and NCM bringing cinema, we've closed two of the biggest remaining gaps in cross-platform planning. For advertisers heading into the Upfront, that means a level of coverage and precision that wasn't possible before.'
Lizzie Collins, SVP, Head of B2B Marketing and Ad Innovation at SiriusXM Media says the integration with VideoAmp will allow clients 'to plan for audio alongside video and CTV, see its true incremental reach, and diversify their media mix.' SiriusXM Media gives advertisers access to 170 million monthly listeners.
National CineMedia's NCMx moviegoer data is built on verified theater attendance and real-world behavior from 17,000 screens across 1,300 locations. The deal will bring this into cross-platform planning - enabling advertisers and agencies to plan cinema 'for the first time' as part of a premium video ecosystem alongside linear TV, CTV and digital video within a single cross-media view. Manu Singh, Chief Data & Innovation Officer at NCM, states: 'Cinema remains a way to reach highly engaged audiences, and NCMx makes it measurable and actionable for advertisers. The NCM integration with VideoAmp is a natural fit, providing agencies with deterministic moviegoer data as a core input in premium video planning, not a separate line item.' NCM has also committed to leveraging the VXM Ads Measurement platform for campaign-level measurement.
