New Director for Firefish Data

Firefish has appointed former MetrixLab and kubi kalloo researcher Jake Finn as the new Director of its Data division.

Firefish has offices in London and New York, and provides clients with full service research solutions and strategic advice founded on understanding of people, societies and cultures. Firefish Data is the new name given two years ago to its quant and data analytics business, previously 'the numbers lab', which sits alongside three other business units. In February the company promoted Lizzy Moroney to UK Managing Director, and appointed Jenny Kieras as Head of Growth.

Finn (pictured) joins Firefish Data from Stonehaven, a consultancy advising businesses on changes in politics, technology, society and the environment, where he has worked since 2023. Earlier in his career he worked as a Research Manager at MetrixLab, and then for four and a half years as an SRE at kubi kalloo, before taking a sixteen-month travel break. He has a BA and a Master's in Psychology from the University of Stirling.

Firefish Data focuses on clients' 'high-stakes moments, such as a rebrand, launch, or repositioning', and its Global MD Majbritt Rijs says of the latest hire: 'Jake's arrival strengthens our mission to help organisations navigate increasingly complex data.
