WPP HR Director Joins Millward Brown Board

Millward Brown has appointed Elaine Holland as Senior VP, Global Human Resources, and a member of the group's main board. She joins from parent company WPP where she was North American Director, Strategic Sourcing.

Holland worked previously for Heidrick & Struggles as a search consultant, for Perot Systems as VP Financial Services and earlier for BT and IBM. She also serves on the Board of Directors for a non-profit cancer retreat.

During her two years in the WPP role, she worked on executive recruiting for WPP's operating companies as well as management of its executive development and MBA Fellowship programs. Bob Meyers, Millward Brown Group CEO worked with her during this time and says he found her 'both hard working and a pleasure to be around. She also has a wealth of experience across a variety of industries worldwide, and will bring great benefits to our global team'. Similarly, Holland says the WPP role gave her 'the opportunity to get to know Millward Brown and many of the professional team of people with whom I will be working'.
