New President for ACUPOLL

Former Circana researcher Kurt Palmquist has joined Cincinnati-based MR and strategy firm ACUPOLL Precision Research as company President.

ACUPOLL helps clients with innovation, strategy, and marketing optimization; and its offer includes proprietary non-conscious measurement, as well as strategy tools for acquisition evaluation, positioning and PR studies.

Palmquist (pictured) joined IRI in 2000 as a VP, and has since worked for a number of the biggest groups in MR including Ipsos, GfK and Kantar, as well as Ace Metrix, MetrixLab and Market Force Information. For the last six plus years he has served as a VP / Principal at consumer data giant and IRI successor company Circana, leading a portfolio of major CPG clients.

In his new role he will lead AcuPoll's next phase of growth, with a focus on commercial strategy, organizational performance, capability evolution, client impact, and long-term enterprise value creation. He takes over the role from Jeff Goldstein, who acquired ACUPOLL in 2012.
