Former Cint Leader Carlsson to Advise Rep Data

April 22 2026

MR industry data quality specialist Rep Data has appointed Cint veteran Oscar Carlsson to its Board of Directors, strengthening its focus on Europe.

Oscar Carlssonrep Data was founded in 2019 by former Lucid and Research Now exec Patrick Stokes. The company operates a centralized DIY sampling platform called Research Desk, and an anti-fraud software platform, Research Defender. Since acquiring ReDem, an in-survey data quality solution, in February, Rep Data has signalled its intent to expand and strengthen its presence in Europe - driven by former ReDem leaders Florian Kögl and Julia Mittermayr.

Carlsson (pictured) is based in Stockholm, and spent more than two decades at online MR marketplace Cint, playing a key role in product development, operations and market expansion across North America, Europe and APAC as the firm grew from an early-stage startup to a publicly listed global business. Recently he has focused on his own business, Milo Advisory, working with startups and scaleups across marketing and research tech, on product strategy, go-to-market execution and international growth. ResTech firms he has advised recently include Datality, PriceAgent and Behavix.

CEO Stokes says of the new appointee, 'As we expand our presence in Europe, his perspective will help ensure we are building in the right way for clients across regions. That includes continuing to connect our platform, data quality infrastructure and global operations into a more unified research workflow.'

The company, which also bought end-to-end consumer research platform SightX, last week, is online at www.repdata.com .
