Redslim Expands to Latin America with Senior Hires

Swiss-based data management solutions firm Redslim has expanded into Latin America, establishing a dedicated presence there with the appointments of Alejandro Merlo as Regional Director and Javier Gonzalez as Regional Manager.

Redslim helps clients in the CPG and consumer healthcare sectors across more than 55 countries to realize the full ROI of their market data, bringing together unstructured and fragmented information and transforming it into ready-to-use data sets, for insights on commercial performance, market shares, marketing, innovation and pricing. The firm has partnered with Kantar and Databricks, among others, and has been majority owned by European private equity firm Astorg since 2024. Last month, the company hired Kyriakos Zannikos as Regional Director, APAC, representing its first foray into that region: the LatAm hires represent a 'final piece' in building a global offering, according to the firm..

Merlo (pictured above) brings more than twenty years of experience in advanced analytics, AI adoption and enterprise-scale data ecosystem transformation. For the past eight years he has run his own AI consulting firm, ESTIGIA, prior to which he spent more than a dozen years at Nielsen and at what is now NIQ, in Account Manager, Director and Regional Leader positions. Earlier he worked in sales roles at retailer Rex and at Oracle. In his new role, leading Redslim's regional roll-out, he is joined by Gonzalez (pictured below), who brings experience advising FMCG clients in food, beverages, tobacco, personal care and retail, on pricing, revenue management and strategic execution. Gonzalez also worked for a long spell at Nielsen, including NIQ, during the period 2009 to 2025.
