Ad group Stagwell has announced a UK-focused partnership between its media intelligence brand UNICEPTA and the Talkwalker platform, owned by social media management specialist Hootsuite.
UNICEPTA monitors and analyses more than 460 million sources worldwide across print, online, broadcast and social media. The Cologne, Germany-based company was acquired by Stagwell just over a year ago, and its brand name survived a tussle with media intelligence and comms suite PRophet last year, emerging victorious after the two firms were integrated.
The new deal will see UNICEPTA UK's specialist media intelligence services integrated with Hootsuite's Talkwalker platform environment, to provide enhanced services to communications professionals. Embedding this directly within the Talkwalker ecosystem, will expand the visibility provided beyond social data to include authoritative editorial media. UNICEPTA UK will also contribute dedicated editorial teams, analyst coding and qualitative contextualisation to the partnership. Clients are promised a comprehensive view of earned, owned and social media performance within a single framework, together with custom dashboards, executive-ready reporting, dedicated account teams and 24/7 support.
