Dig Opens in Australia with Sydney Hire

May 11 2026

Innovation research specialist Dig Insights has appointed Emma Roberts as Vice President, based in a new office in Sydney, and supporting clients / driving commercial growth across Australia and New Zealand.

Emma RobertsDig employs more than 250 staff across 11 countries, and applies proprietary technology to help clients with brand and innovation challenges, identifying trends, building and forecasting the performance of innovations, or tracking opportunities in-market. Earlier this year it combined the technologies of its OneCliq and Upsiide brands into a new offer called Dig One, aiming to replace 'static' and 'episodic' outputs with a 'living' system of connected and continuously-updated insights.

Roberts (pictured) brings more than fifteen years of international experience from work in South Africa, New York, London and Australia. Her expertise comes mainly from agency-side work with FMCG and alcohol brands, leading initiatives to grow revenue, shape foresight-led innovation pipelines, and help leadership teams move from strategy to execution.

The appointment follows that of Joanna Lepore last year as EVP of Global Strategy & Foresight, based in Australia, and adds a fourth global office (Sydney) for the company, which already has locations in Toronto, Chicago and London.

Lepore, who is EVP Global Strategy and Foresight, says of the hire, 'Emma brings exactly the kind of strategic mindset and commercial depth that will help accelerate brand partner growth, in this innovative and highly competitive region.' Paul Gaudette, CEO and co-founder, comments: 'We're building a global business that operates with real cultural depth in every market we touch. Emma's appointment in ANZ is part of a deliberate strategy to put the right people in the right places to serve clients where they are.'

The company is online at www.diginsights.com .
