YouGov's data analytics and visualization platform Crunch has added new AI Agent features, allowing users to explore any data collected from the firm's global panel of 30+ million members through natural language conversation. Custom research and syndicated products are both included.

The firm added AI agent functionality four months ago to its flagship audience intelligence platform Profiles. The new, wider roll-out includes data from YouGov Surveys: Serviced and Self-serve, Custom Research and CategoryView, while clients who upload their own third-party data into Crunch will also be able to use the AI Agent to interrogate that. The interface returns instant, validated answers directly from the data, and then allows users to refine and explore related issues, and/or share results. More advanced users can still generate cross-tabs and use filters as an alternative or adjunct to the conversational approach.
