i-Genie Unveils Online Engagement Tracker

May 20 2026

US-based consumer insights firm i-Genie.ai has launched Impact IQ, which tracks social media conversations and search patterns to help brands understand how their digital marketing investments drive online engagement. Data is presented in a dashboard including the firm's agentic interface Presto.

Trevor Sumneri-Genie was launched in the Spring of 2023 by former Unilever execs Stan Sthanunathan and Paul van Gendt, and already employs more than forty people, delivering insights across more than 25 countries. Presto is the firm's agentic insights layer, delivering instant consumer insights, based on data including integrated customer datasets, in response to complex, natural-language questions. The company raised $7.5 million in Series A funding in September last year.

Impact IQ is funded by Unilever's growing investment in the company, and promises actionable insights at scale across more than 60 markets and categories. The tool automatically scans and finds posts related to a client's campaigns, and measures performance through each organization's business lens, including its definition of category and brand.

The tool's analysis address three key perspectives: what a brand communicates, what influencers and creators are saying, and what consumers are organically discussing across social channels. Metrics produced include buzz, share of engagement, and share of sentiment. Key features include campaign management, campaign overlay and trend analysis at the platform level (eg TikTok, Reddit or X), post and verbatim drill-down, competitive intelligence and creator performance evaluation. Brands can track an unlimited number of their own and competitor brands, with no limits on campaigns or tracked entities.

CEO Trevor Sumner (pictured) comments: 'Impact IQ was built to answer the most important questions marketing leaders face today: 'Is my spend effective? Which campaigns are moving the needle? How do I compare to competitors and am I gaining share of voice? And what should I do next?' Those answers are instant, intuitive and grounded in real, observable consumer behavior.'
