CRM automation firm Klaviyo is rolling out its AI marketing agent Composer in public beta, and has upgraded its sister product Customer Agent. Both are integrated with the company's CRM platform, and work from the same real-time customer data across marketing and service.
Klaviyo combines marketing automation, analytics and customer service into a unified solution, powered by real-time transactional and behavioral data, and learning as it goes. Both agents work off the same real-time customer profile, and learn from their own and each other's experience.
Composer promises to identify users' biggest opportunities, build the campaigns to capture them, and execute the work automatically. Users ask it 'what to focus on' and a list of revenue opportunities is returned, based on a full audit of every live campaign, flow and segment. The user then selects an opportunity, and the software recommends what to do about it, and builds a complete cross-channel campaign to address it, drawing on fourteen years of customer context, best practices, and patterns from nearly 200,000 brands, plus the user's own campaign performance and signals. Customer Agent, which will see additional functionality rolling out throughout 2026, starts with the same customer data that powers Composer.
'Businesses aren't struggling because they lack AI tools,' states CMO Jamie Domenici (pictured), 'they're struggling because most AI can't act on the context that matters. The next era of consumer experiences will be defined by companies that can combine AI with deep customer understanding to move faster, personalize better, and turn customer insights into growth. Composer and Customer Agent help brands put that understanding to work.'
