YPulse MCP Launch Puts Youth Culture Data into AI Tools

July 21 2026

In the US, Gen Z and Gen Alpha research specialist YPulse has added an MCP connector, allowing clients to integrate its proprietary youth data directly into their AI tools and agentic workflows.

Dan CoatesThe company was founded in 2004 and until last year focused on research among Gen Z and Millennial consumers (13 to 39-year-olds) - including teens, college students, young adults and young parents. In May 2025 it added its first coverage of 8-12-year-olds, promising brands an understanding of the behavior of pre-teens / Tweens and the trends influencing them.

YPulse says the new MCP connector gives brands conversational access to 'the largest youth data set on the market,' including surveys, reports and articles containing more than 21 billion datapoints from more than fifteen years of continuous tracking of 8-39-year-olds across North America and Western Europe. Via the MCP, verified YPulse data can now be pulled into answers from Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini and 'even' Slack.

YPulse MCP queries the entire underlying dataset rather than a pre-selected set of views, allowing customization of output to match a project's specific demographics. Responses are linked back to the underlying survey question and named study, together with sample size, for confidence in sourcing and citing.

CEO Dan Coates comments: 'Every youth campaign is a bet, and most brands are betting on secondhand assumptions. YPulse MCP puts verified data and young consumers' own words into the decision before the money moves, not in the postmortem after it didn't work.'

The firm is on the web at www.ypulse.com .
