Ipsos Returns to Organic Growth in Q2

July 22 2026

Ipsos has reported revenue of EUR 615.2 million in the second quarter, representing organic growth of 3.0% - a significant rebound after a challenging Q1.

Jean Laurent PoitouReported growth was 4.9%, with scope effects adding 3.9% - the acquisition of The BVA Family in June 2025 was only partially offset by the deconsolidation of Russian operations from January 1st. The rise of the Euro against some other currencies meant that currency rates had a negative impact of 3.4%.

Growth was driven by a strong performance in Public Affairs, among Consumer Goods clients, and in China, with notable improvements also in the pharmaceutical sector and in the UK - these have driven a strong order book for the remainder of the year.

In addition to its Horizons strategic plan launched early in the year, Ipsos has unveiled a programme called Speed, designed to accelerate the entire research production cycle and significantly reduce project delivery times - specifically, to conduct most studies within 48 hours.

Performance by Region

All regions saw improved organic growth during the quarter.

EMEA, the group's largest region, reported revenue growth of 5.6% in the first half, mostly due to the BVA Family acquisition, offset by the Russian deconsolidation and by currency effects. Organic growth was 0.5% in the first half, impacted by a slowdown in activity in the Middle East. Latin America remained robust, growing 6.3% in the first half while North America was stable. A recovery in the US since March has been led by a number of Public Affairs contract wins. Asia-Pacific saw the highest organic growth, at 2.0% - increased research spending in China from major local technology and automotive clients played a major part in this.

Performance by Audience

Organic growth accelerated across all audience segments during the second quarter, with the Consumers, Clients & Employees service line up nearly 2%, while the Citizens business growing 8%, with several multi-year agreements. The Doctors & Patients audience segment improved, with organic growth approaching 3% in the second quarter, partly due to a more favourable market environment, supported by faster regulatory approvals and sustained innovation, particularly in obesity treatments, oncology and rare diseases. The DIY Ipsos.Digital platform delivered double-digit organic growth in the first half, and the group says initiatives are underway to increase the number of studies conducted through the platform and to further enhance its capabilities.

Prospects

Looking forward, the group says it now expects organic growth of around 2% for the full year, with an acceleration in activity in H2 driven by the continued ramp-up of Globally Managed Services (GMS), the development of new AI-based solutions, enhanced capabilities within the Ipsos.Digital platform, and continued initiatives in priority markets including China and the United States.
