Florida-based holding company ACKWEST Group has announced the rebranding of Reckner Healthcare, which it acquired last year, as TestSet Health, bringing together Reckner's thirty years of research experience in the sector with the global reach and technology of TestSet.
ACKWEST was launched in March 2024 by MR industry entrepreneurs Hugh Davis and Keith Price, as a holding company for tech-driven consumer insights and marketing services firms. First party data specialist TestSet was its first significant investment, and healthcare and consumer research company J. Reckner Associates was added in March 2025.
Reckner was established in the 1990s, employs around 150 people and boasts an extensive and varied network of healthcare professionals including physicians, hospital executives and surgical centers. TestSet Health was launched in Europe in October 2025, with Vince Wills appointed in London to lead the new unit - ACKWEST said this was the first phase of a healthcare-specific global data strategy.
Michael Sanfelippo (pictured), President of TestSet, says of the latest move: 'Unifying under TestSet Health gives clients the best of both worlds: the trusted local team and uncompromising service they rely on daily, now powered by a global infrastructure spanning more than 30 key markets worldwide.'
Bringing Reckner Healthcare and TestSet Health together as a single entity reflects our commitment to delivering first-party data and trusted healthcare research,' says ACKWEST co-founder and Managing Partner Price, 'and sets the foundation for continued growth in the healthcare space.'
The group says clients will continue to work with the same teams and points of contact, with no disruption to ongoing projects. Web sites are at www.ackwest.com and www.testset.com .
