Senior Marketing and Comms Appointments for Zeta Global

Former Salesforce marketing leader Leah Pope has joined Zeta Global as Chief Marketing Officer, and will work alongside Candace Dean who has been promoted to Chief Communications Officer.

Zeta is headquartered in NYC with offices worldwide, and was founded in 2007 by David A. Steinberg and former Apple CEO John Sculley. Its Marketing Cloud, launched in 2018, combines identity, intelligence and omnichannel activation, backed by one of the industry's largest proprietary databases. For the full year 2025 the firm posted annual revenue up 29.7% to $1,305m.

Pope (pictured above) brings more than two decades of experience, including a spell as Head of Marketing at Salesforce, leading the function across the CRM giant's Marketing Cloud, Pardot and ExactTarget products, among others - this followed Salesforce's acquisition of Datorama, where she was CMO. Most recently, she held the same title at enterprise customer data firm ActionIQ, and earlier in her career she held senior marketing roles at Synthesio, IBM and Lombardi Software.

Dean (pictured below) joined the company in 2024 as Group Vice President and Head of Communications, and already heads up its global communications strategy. In the new C-Suite role she will continue leading Zeta's communications organization and corporate reputation efforts. Prior to Zeta she held senior communications leadership roles at Zoom and Adobe.
