2CV Promotes Singapore Leader to Global CEO

Chris Oatey has been promoted to global CEO at research agency 2CV. An eight-year veteran of the business, he returns to London after leading the Singapore office. He replaces longtime company leader Tim Blandford, who resumed the role on an interim basis in April.

Oatey joined the company in Singapore in 2018 as an AD, and rose to RD and then Regional Director, working with clients across Asia. Prior to joining he worked at Hall & Partners and Vivid Interface. With the new promotion he returns to the UK, bringing 'both a deep understanding of 2CV and first-hand experience of the different challenges facing businesses and research teams around the world.'

'I'm incredibly excited to be taking on the role of CEO at a business I know so well and care so much about,' says Oatey. 'Over the past eight years, I've worked with brilliant people across 2CV and with clients around the world, including during my time leading our Singapore office.
