Knowledge sharing and decision-making platform Stravito has announced the launch of AI Persona Builder, a tool converting a company's own research data into personas, which can then be 'interviewed' to test campaigns, products and ideas.
Stravito was founded in Sweden in 2017, and now has additional offices in London, Amsterdam and the USA. The firm helps larger corporations to store, discover, integrate and share market and consumer insights. Two years ago it launched an AI-based 'insights companion' called Assistant, and in the autumn of 2025 it added Stravito AI Personas, which are used to test, refine and co-create ideas in real time.
The new tool, which builds on this existing offer, is based on the firm's Glass Box AI principles, designed to ensure its use of AI is 'transparent and explainable.' Stravito says that unlike generic AI or simulated customer intelligence tools that build personas from unknown web data, its new offering shows its working, with each trait scored against the research itself, linked to its exact source, and flagged as contested when sources disagree. When a question can't be answered from the research, it will say so rather than 'inventing an answer.'
'We built AI Persona Builder to be a glass box, not a black box,' says CEO and founder Thor Olof Philogène. You can see the research behind every answer, how strongly it's backed, and where it leaves room for interpretation. That transparency is what turns an AI persona into a decision-support resource teams can actually trust, whether they're briefing creatives, pressure-testing packaging redesigns, or planning a new launch.'
The firm says the utility of the persona will depend on the depth of research a company has available: 'A full segmentation study can generate a richly evidenced persona in minutes, while a smaller number of reports, interviews, collections and videos can still create a useful persona, honest about where it is inferring.'
Personas are built using two agents, one which 'reads' every document and creates a detailed, evidence-cited profile, and a second which restructures the first's output into clean 'trait cards' without adding to or changing it. Users are guided through defining who the persona represents, and generating the profile.
General availability is planned for Q4 2026. The firm is online at www.stravito.com .
