Glance Hires Commercial Strategy Leader

International TV and video market intelligence provider Glance has appointed François Gioux as Sales Director.

Glance is the international TV and video market intelligence division of French measurement company Mediametrie. Glance specialises in international TV markets and provides official TV ratings for more than 7,000 channels in over 120 territories. The firm has offices in Paris and London, and has recently added partnership agreements in The Netherlands and Mexico.

Gioux (pictured) brings more than seventeen years' experience working in advertising, branding and media. He began his career in the ad sales divisions of leading French media groups RTL and M6 Unlimited, promoting audience value, data and insights to advertisers; and more recently served as International Sales Director at sonic branding agency Sixième Son. Most recently, he was Sales Director at advertising agency Silenzio, also with a strong focus on partnership development.

In his new role, reporting to SVP Frédéric Vaulpré, Gioux will manage the Glance sales team across the Americas, Europe, Australia and Asia, driving its international commercial strategy. He will also focus on expanding strategic partnerships with key players in the media and entertainment industry.
