Funds for Product Co-creation Specialist Demoverse

Bengaluru, India-based product co-creation platform Demoverse has raised $600K in pre-seed funding, with which to grow its design community, further develop its consumer interaction application, and expand its US presence.

Demoverse was founded early in 2026 by Akshay Mehta, and allows consumer brands to directly engage with shoppers during product design and creation stages. After the community votes on the best potential design, brands can move products into commercial production, while rewarding the creators behind designs with direct royalty payouts. The firm says the combination of AI-based designs and human preferences and community engagement ensures product ideas with stronger consumer support are chosen.

Starting out working with the fashion industry, Demoverse says it plans to expand into beauty, cosmetics, home decor, and later markets with more complex products, such as automotive.

The investment was led by Lumikai, a gaming and interactive media-focused venture capital firm, as part of its dedicated pre-seed program, Pixels.
