SurveyMonkey Integrates for Improved Employee Feedback

October 20 2026

SurveyMonkey has announced integrations with human resource information systems (HRIS), allowing users to connect employee feedback with regular workforce data. The firm says these will help HR teams spot changes in engagement and potential turnover risk earlier, among many other benefits.

Becky CantieriThe integrations have been built with Merge and include BambooHR - Merge also lets SurveyMonkey bring support for additional HRIS platforms to market faster, so integrations can keep pace with the systems customers use.

Explaining the thinking behind the launch, the DIY surveys and forms pioneer says more than 160,000 organizations use its software to listen to employee feedback, while holding HR team information such as who's joining, who's leaving, which teams are growing and where turnover is increasing, in their own system. The new integrations bring this data together without manual work, syncing workforce data from supported HRIS platforms with SurveyMonkey every 24 hours.

Benefits include keeping survey audiences current as employee information changes, without manually updating lists; ease of comparing responses across department, location, job title and tenure; and the ability to spot falling engagement in certain teams or groups early, and flag up turnover risk in time to avoid people leaving. The integrations should also remove the need for some screener information and therefore shorten surveys.

'HR teams shouldn't wait until someone leaves to understand what wasn't working,' says Becky Cantieri (pictured), longstanding Chief People Officer at SurveyMonkey. 'Automatically connecting workforce data with employee feedback gives HR teams a current view of what's happening across the organization, so they can see where engagement is slipping, challenges exist, or which teams might need more support. These insights give leaders a chance to step in before good people decide to leave.'

The integrations are available now as part of Today's SurveyMonkey, the 'reimagined' platform launched seven weeks ago.
