Listen Labs Rolls Out Twins Product

October 28 2026

In San Francisco, customer understanding platform Listen Labs has launched Listen Twins, which model real individuals in a company's target audience, and provide clients with their own panel of 100 or more Twins, providing answers to their questions in seconds.

Alfred WahlforssLaunched in April 2025, Listen Labs is in the process of being acquired by global CRM company Salesforce, with unconfirmed reports putting the price tag as high as $2 billion. The company has run more than 2 million AI-powered interviews across a global network of 50+ million participants, and employs around 130 people including in-house researchers. Funding to date totals around $100m and includes a Series A led by Sequoia Capital and a $69m Series B led by Ribbit Capital.

Each of the new Twins is built from an in-depth interview and can predict what that person will do, as well as explaining why. Listen Labs says testing has founded that Twin answers matched the distribution of real people's answers with 93% accuracy.

The process starts with clients defining their target audience and the decisions for which they need data. Listen Labs then recruits matching participants from its network of more than 50 million people, interviews each one in depth, and builds a Twin, with each model also enriched with a company's existing customer, persona, and past study data. Twins answer with their reasoning, the real interview quote behind it, and a confidence score, but 'will not guess beyond their scope', according to the company, which continues to recommend a full research study using its AI-moderation product where decisions are higher stakes, including go/no-go decisions.

Co-founder and CEO Alfred Wahlforss (pictured) comments: 'Our Twins know the story behind every answer. And across millions of interviews, we have identified Keystone Questions that unlock how people actually behave. The ability to predict how people will react is a powerful tool. So we're building this responsibly.'
