B2B Consultancy Launched

June 6 2005

Former TNS b2b Director Tony Clayton has launched his own company, The Clayton Consultancy (TCC), offering services primarily to B2B customers. His 25 years' experience in UK agencies includes spells at MIL, NOP, BJM and Kadence.

Clayton has worked among b2b decision-makers in a variety of industries, including banking and insurance providers, printing and paper, business and consumer magazines, fleet management, software and business postage, through to very specific markets such as electrical wiring and industrial pumps.

The company will make use of a network of accredited experts to deliver a high class service: these include The Wire (CATI), NFC (Halls/in-home), FML (CAPI), IDA (Data analysis and Web surveys), Sample Answers (Specialist sampling services) and the CMR Group (Statistical Consultants for Multivariate Analysis).

Clayton says he wanted to build a 'one-stop shop' where businesses can simply come for advice, and will be pointed in the right direction if TCC cannot meet their research requirements directly. 'I have found that many research buyers these days are looking for straightforward, affordable research allied with personal attention and commitment from their research supplier. TNS, NOP, et al, are excellent companies and provide cutting edge research: however, some companies cannot afford to work with the larger research providers or, simply don't know where to start, needing a more specialist, hands-on approach'.

Whilst specialising in the B2B arena Clayton, a Full Member of the MRS and a member of b2b association BIG, has extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative consumer research. He can be contacted on 01727 812 475 or tc@tonyclayton.org
