MR Expansion for Mattson Jack

US-based Mattson Jack Group (MJG), owned by WPP, has appointed three new members of staff for its Advanced Methods Group as the company plans to enhance its MR offerings. William Serad, Mylinda Willsey and Henry Lu will be based in MJG's Philadelphia office.

Serad, who will be Senior Director of Advanced Methods, has previously directed teams of analysts, statisticians, and SQL programmers in both business and academia. Prior to joining MJG, he worked for TVG Market Research as Executive VP and Chief Methodologist, and formerly as head of TVG's Quantitative Processes. While there, he developed advanced analytics including statistical modelling, market segmentation, and allied software development. In addition, he has developed several publications about quantitative market analysis.

Willsey has been appointed as Quantitative Methodologist. She previously worked as an Associate for the Gomez Foundation for Mill House, and has a background in Medicaid and Managed Care payment environments. Her experience encompasses various research methodologies including regression analysis and structural equation models. She earned her PhD and Master's Degrees in Sociology from Columbia University, New York.

Lu joins the team as a Senior Statistical Analyst, coming from TNS Healthcare where he built positioning, and patient flow and segmentation models. He has a range of analysis and programming skills, with a particular strength in dynamic models and SAS programming. He earned his Master's degree in Computer Science at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, and his BA in Business at Southeast University in Nanjing, China.
