Israeli Firm Joins Harris Interactive Network

Israeli-based Midgam Research and Consulting Ltd has become the latest affiliate member of the Harris Interactive Global Network of MR companies.

Midgam was responsible for Israeli election sampling in 1999 and 2001, and has forecast election results for Israeli national TV. It has also developed models in the areas of brand equity and ad concept research. The firm conducts in-person surveys in Arabic, Hebrew and Russian, and is currently launching an online panel and web-based surveys. Current clients include aviation, banking, food, healthcare, media and telecoms companies, as well as advertising agencies and governmental organizations.

The Harris Global Network, formed in 1992, includes twenty independent companies, which exchange research expertise and share regional knowledge. David Vaden, Executive VP and Chief Strategy Officer for Harris Interactive welcomed Midgam to the Network, saying: 'This will strengthen our research capabilities in the Middle East, and enable us to better provide our clients with consumer and business insights from this region.'

According to Mano Geva, CEO of Midgam Research and Consulting, being selected by Harris 'launches a new era for Midgam'. He hopes it will 'enhance our trade, sharpen our professional ability and enable us to invigorate and leverage market research in Israel'.
