M/A/R/C Builds Healthcare Presence with New Appointments

Will LeskinUS agency M/A/R/C Research has hired healthcare expert Will Leskin as VP, responsible for the company's qualitative division. The company has also appointed two new Account Directors, both experienced in the medical and pharma research field.

Leskin has over eleven years of experience in MR as a consultant and moderator, mainly in the healthcare field. He has moderated both in-person and telephone focus groups with physicians, healthcare workers, pharmacy directors, patients, activists, business professionals and consumers. In addition, he has been involved with study design and analysis on various qualitative research projects with patients and consumers on issues regarding customer satisfaction, retention, and compliance. He is an active member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA).

Merrill Dubrow, President and CEO of M/A/R/C, says Leskin has 'tremendous experience and a solid reputation' and that 'his arrival comes at a great time as we are expanding our presence in the healthcare industry'.

Nancy Miller, one of the new Account Directors, brings with her more than 15 years' MR experience, with a focus on pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare markets. She has also worked as a nurse administrator. Prior to her new role, she was an independent MR consultant for North Carolina hospitals and healthcare agencies. She moved into account management where she managed pre-launch, product launch, and line extensions in multiple therapeutic categories.

Mary Loveland, the second new Account Director, has more than 20 years of broad experience working within the pharmaceutical industry. She began her career with Schering Laboratories where she managed MR, marketing, and product promotions. She later moved into MR as an account executive, focusing on the pharmaceutical industry.

Both Miller and Loveland are active members of the Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA), the Pharmaceutical Business Intelligence Research Group (PBIRG), and the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Research Group (PMRG).
