Puget Sound Research Forum Names Directors

Washington State MR association the Puget Sound Research Forum has announced an impressive Board of Directors for 2005-2006. They include research professionals from agencies including Ipsos and comScore, as well as from the client side, with representatives from Amazon and Microsoft.

The full list of newly announced directors is as follows.

Scott Prueter, the 2005-2006 PSRF President, is a Business Development Manager for Common Knowledge Research, a company that specialises in digital data collection and online reporting solutions for market research.

Paul Kirch, President-elect, chairs the Programs Committee. He is VP of Client Development for The Olinger Group headquartered in New Orleans, LA.

Nancy Hardwick is responsible for Sponsorship and is a long-time PSRF board member. She is President of Hardwick Research, a company she formed 11 years ago, which provides both qualitative and quantitative research.

Eric Larse heads up Member Development and is also a long-term board member. He is a co-founder and managing member of Kinesis, a customer experience management firm that helps
companies develop more profitable service strategies.

Richard Secker, Treasurer of the Board, is the Field Manager for Informa Research Services, a full-service MR firm that specializes in customer satisfaction and retention, mystery shopping, investment and brokerage research.

Ann Breese, responsible for Member Communications, is Group Research Manager at Microsoft.

Mark Rosenkranz sits on the Programs Committee and is the MD at Pacific Market Research in Renton. Pacific works closely with political consultants, community-based organizations, government agencies, commercial firms, full-service market research firms, and academic clients to conduct data collection.

Ellen Yeckel, responsible for PSRF Special Events, recently joined Kinesis as Senior Project Manager.

Mike Pritchard sits on the Programs Committee. He is a VP with comScoreQ2, responsible for media and technology clients on the West Coast. ComScoreQ2 is the primary custom research division of comScore Networks.

Marie Bennewitz is Secretary of the Board and has been a researcher in the wireless telecommunications industry for over six years.

Janet Thorpe is on the Membership and Special Events committees. She is Director of Client Services at Northwest Research Group, Inc. (NWRG), a full-service custom MR firm in Bellevue, WA.

Manfred Bluemel, is new to the Board and sits on the PSRF Programs committee. He manages the market research group at Amazon.com in Seattle.

Carolina Greenblat is a newcomer to the PSRF Board. She is the Consumer Information Manager for Nordstrom Inc.

Claire Booth is also a newcomer to the Board and sits on the Programs committee. She is the MD of the recently opened Ipsos Seattle office, where she manages both qualitative and quantitative research.

Will Scharf is Past President of PSRF, and has been an active board member for the last four years. He is a Senior Research Manager at the new Ipsos Seattle office.
