Telecoms Appointment for Access Intelligence

September 14 2005

Business information firm Access Intelligence has appointed John Lilley, formerly of Gartner, as Director, Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for its Telecommunications Advisory Group (TAG). The role will involve establishing an enterprise research panel, and developing the company's telecoms business in the region.

Lilley previously led global business development in the communications sector for Gartner, where he worked for nearly ten years. He held a variety of positions, including Chief Analyst for the Global Telecom Practice, and launched various research programs across telephony, data and Internet markets.

TAG includes market intelligence provider InfoTech, tariff consultancy Tarifica, and the web-based product database Telecom Tactics. In his new role, Lilley will assume responsibility for establishing a state-of-the-art enterprise research panel, adding greater EMEA coverage to existing offerings, and launching new products and services.

Mike O'Neill, Executive VP of TAG, says Lilley's 'wealth of experience in EMEA as well as the Asia-Pacific region are invaluable assets to AI as we enter an exciting period of growth'.

Access Intelligence serves the chemical, defense, satellite, aviation, cable, telecoms, media and public relations markets. Its Telecom Advisory Group is online at www.accessintel.com/telecom.htm.
