Ipsos ASI Launches Fast Low-Cost Ad Tracker

October 5 2005

Ad and brand research specialist Ipsos ASI Canada has launched Ad*Graph Express, a new quick-turnaround tool to help companies measure the impact of an ad or campaign, without the cost of continuous tracking.

The Express survey asks the same key questions as continuous tracking programs, and measures results against norms. It costs $9,500 for 1,000 interviews conducted nationally, and results are delivered within one week. The company describes the tool as a 'pulse check', designed to help clients check how ads are doing, assess which of several executions is working best, and to find out whether the effect of the ad is wearing out.

The original Ad*Graph continuous tracking service has been used since 1986. However, according to Bernie Malinoff, VP at Ipsos ASI, 'continuous tracking is not always appropriate or affordable'. He explains that the new Express tool will 'apply nearly 20 years of Ipsos ASI learning, using the same questions used in our wave or continuous tracking programs'.

Ipsos ASI has offices in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia. The company's web site is www.ipsos-asi.com . ASI Canada is online at www.ipsos.ca/asi.
