Current Analysis Hires Europe Research Head

Telecoms and IT market intelligence provider Current Analysis has appointed Bruce Page, formerly of META Group and Gartner, as VP of Telecom Services, Europe. Based in Paris, Page will lead the company's custom research in the region, reporting to Raymond Keneipp, Senior VP of Research and Analysis.

Page has more than 20 years' experience in the IT industry. Most recently, he worked as VP of Technology Research Services at META Group, where he conducted research on content and collaboration strategies for clients in Europe. Previously, he was VP of Business Development at Gartner, where he was responsible for market and competitive analysis.

According to Keneipp, Page's telecoms experience, together with his expertise in vendor strategy, qualitative research, and network deployment strategy, gives him the 'necessary skills and tenure to address the dynamic competitive response issues our clients face'.

Page himself believes that companies in the fast-changing telecoms industry need to track their competitors, but that they often lack the time. He says Current Analysis has 'a breakthrough model for applying world-class IT industry analysis to customers' competitive intelligence needs', and that 'there is an enormous opportunity to develop new offerings based on this model'.
