WebTrends Incorporates Content Management Tool

November 1 2005

US-based WebTrends is partnering with web software specialist Hot Banana, to streamline the process of analysing and optimising Internet content. The new tool combines WebTrends' analysis software with Hot Banana's content management suite to help users improve content in response to analysis.

WebTrends says the partnership offers 'innovative workflow process improvements'. For example, the new tool automates the process of placing WebTrends SmartSource tags on web pages. It also makes it easier for users to make immediate changes to site content and marketing programs as a result of analysis of visitor behaviour and traffic.

Several clients, including WorldVision, Bell Industries, InsureMe and Beaver Machine, are already using the combined solution. Tim McTavish, InsureMe's CEO, says the tool simplifies the process of optimising web content by 'enabling us to make changes more quickly, and measure results every step of the way'.

Krista Lariviere, CEO, Hot Banana, says she is looking forward to 'the next phase of co-development' between the two companies.

The companies are online at www.HotBanana.com and www.WebTrends.com.
