TNS Staff Move to Synovate

December 12 2005

Synovate Diversity - Synovate's growing multicultural research business in the US - has hired a team of four researchers from TNS Market Development. Everett Hernandez joins as Senior VP and General Manager; Steve Moylan as VP; Denise Marks as VP, Research Studies; and Anna Marie Lopez as In-person Project Field Services Director.

Hernandez was Executive VP in TNS' multicultural group for 12 years, and has conducted market research with diverse populations for more than two decades. In his new role, he will oversee Synovate's Diversity offices in Miami, New York, San Diego and Chicago.

Moylan, formerly VP at TNS, has experience in multicultural MR, customer loyalty research and human capital consulting. He has lived in Latin America for many years and has conducted several research projects focusing on Latin America and US Hispanic markets.

Marks was formerly the Director of Quantitative Project Operations at TNS, where she worked for 17 years, managing and directing quantitative studies in the US multicultural markets and Latin America. She will lead the research activities of Synovate Diversity's quantitative group.

Lopez has more than ten years' experience in MR, overseeing consumer, financial and legal research studies in Latin America and US Hispanic markets. She was born in Mexico and has spent several years in the field, interviewing and directing focus group research.

'By 2050, half the U.S. population is going to be multicultural,' said Hernandez. 'Targeting them has gone from cool to hip to vogue to necessary.'

'As the demographics of the US continues to change, it has become increasingly important for companies to better understand multicultural markets,' said Robert Philpott, CEO for Synovate's Americas region. 'With our growing team, all of whom have an extremely impressive multicultural research background, Synovate is uniquely positioned to provide valuable business direction to companies that are trying to reach multicultural consumers.'

Synovate Diversity is preparing a series of seminars across the US to unveil its latest US Diversity Markets Report (known as The Blue Book). More information is at www.synovate.com/current/events.
