comScore Hires Interactive Ad Expert

comScore Networks has hired Samantha Voisin, formerly of iVillage, as VP in the company's Media and Entertainment Solutions practice, based in Los Angeles. Voisin will be responsible for the company's interactive advertising measurement services.

Voisin has 20 years' experience in the advertising industry, including nine years in interactive advertising. At iVillage, she consulted with ad agencies and clients on interactive advertising and marketing strategies. Previously, she managed the Western region for ad technology provider Eyeblaster, and directed online media planning at Initiative Media. She began her career in media planning at J. Walter Thompson and Lintas: Campbell-Ewald consulting.

Erin Hunter, Senior VP at the practice, says: 'Samantha's expertise in traditional and online advertising will aid our clients in understanding how to employ innovative interactive advertising formats.'

The firm's Media and Entertainment Solutions group makes use of its online consumer panel, helping companies quantify the impact of the Internet on their businesses and understand trends in consumer video and audio streaming.
