Nielsen Media Hires Leader for Asian Index

Nielsen Media Research has appointed Helen Pemberton as Asia Pacific Director of Media Index, the company's long-standing multimedia survey. Pemberton was previously Marketing Director at Business Week Asia.

Pemberton worked for three years at BusinessWeek Asia, following 11 years leading the research function at the International Herald Tribune in Hong Kong, Singapore and Paris. She has lived in Hong Kong for the last seven years.

In her new role, Pemberton will focus on the Readership and Media & Consumer Insights aspects of Media Index, and will work on a growth strategy for the survey. She will also help to develop the company's custom media research business in Hong Kong.
