Analytics Specialist Joins MindShare

Tim Murphy has joined WPP's MindShare as Senior Partner, Managing Director of its North American Advanced Techniques Group (ATG). An econometrics and marketing analysis specialist, he leaves MMA (Marketing Management Analytics), a division of Aegis.

Murphy starts immediately and will be based in New York. He has worked at MMA since 1997, in a variety of roles, most recently as Senior VP, Analysis and Client Service. His previous employers include Information Resources Inc., Pitney Bowes, and (WPP-owned) Young & Rubicam.

ATG is an ROI-oriented, end-to-end marketing effectiveness unit combining data management, analytics, and technology consultancy. MindShare's research offering also includes MindShare Media Research and Development (MRD) and MindShare Insights (MI).

MindShare President-CEO Marc Goldstein says the firm conducted an extensive search before hiring Murphy. 'We're exceptionally pleased that an executive with his depth of experience, skill, and capability is joining our team'.
