Comms Panel Launch for GfK

GfK has launched a new 12,000-strong communications panel to track the consumer market for fixed, Internet and mobile platforms. Online data capture will be balanced with an additional CATI sample to ensure the panel is representative.

The panel will provide clients with regular updates on subscriber share and customer loyalty, as well as diagnosis of consumer behaviour. The latter includes who customers of each network / provider are; why they chose a specific network or supplier; what phone features are most used and why; downloading and other activity; satisfaction; spend; and number of phones owned. Results will be benchmarked in-house against data from GfK Retail &Technology.

James Rudd, Communications Director says the service will enable providers 'to increase revenue and loyalty through targeted campaigns and real market insight. GfK is uniquely able to provide this level of data and analysis into the dynamic communications market.'
