Two to Tango as Synovate Unit Closes

Synovate's UK-based Corporate and Financial Unit is to close, DRNO has learned. Most staff will be relocated within the firm but two senior financial services research experts, Claire Labrum and Dave Skelsey, are to leave at the end of the year to set up their own qual consultancy, Strictly Financial.

Labrum has run the Corporate and Financial Unit at Synovate since 2003. The unit was originally set up by TRBI around 15 years ago under Judy Jones and Kate Willis. The unit's remaining researchers are being absorbed into other parts of the firm.

DRNO will publish news of the Strictly Financial launch and web site nearer the time.
