IAG Strengthens Management Team

November 30 2006

TV ad rating firm IAG Research has appointed Jean-Philippe Maheu as Chief Operations Officer, while at the same time promoting David Wyler to the post of Senior Vice President, and General Manager of its consumer panel.

Maheu takes up the role having previously worked as CEO of behavioural marketing services company, Direct Revenue. Prior to this, he held a number of senior management roles at Razorfish, where latterly he led the company until its sale to aQuantive in 2003.

Describing Maheu as 'one of the brightest and most experienced executives in online advertising and branding', IAG's Co-CEO, Alan Gould went on to explain the reasoning behind the new appointment: 'We are expanding our measurement services to follow television content and advertising as it moves across platforms, especially online.'

After three years at IAG, Wyler has been promoted from his previous role with the firm's network division, where he developed and managed several key network relationships. Prior to joining IAG, Wyler held a variety of roles at PRIMEDIA, Zagat Survey, and Reuters and began his career in research at CBS.

'Increasingly marketers are turning to us to help them measure and value the evolving landscape of TV advertising, including cable VOD, mobile and the web. David's knowledge of the industry and how our network and advertiser clients use our effectiveness data, makes him the ideal candidate to help us expand our panel capabilities to capture these new forms of viewing' said Eric Gould, IAG co-founder and CIO.
