New Beat for Kopp

January 16 2007

Online analytics company WebTrends has appointed Tim Kopp as its new CMO, responsible for all the company's marketing and branding. Kopp was previously head of the Worldwide Interactive Marketing Organization at Coca-Cola Company.

Kopp, who will report directly to President and CEO Greg Drew, has more than 10 years' experience in technology and marketing. Before joining Coke he led the Interactive Marketing Organization for the Beauty Care Division at Procter and Gamble, which has approximately $17 billion in annual sales.

Drew says the new arrival's experience leading the marketing of world-class brands 'speaks volumes about his expertise. 'Plus, his leadership role in interactive marketing, his groundbreaking strategies for integrating emerging media into broader communications planning, and his brilliant advertising strategies across multiple media channels demonstrate just how valuable an asset he will be.'

According to Kopp, 'The media landscape is changing as consumers continue to spend more time with everything from online video to mobile devices to gaming. WebTrends is uniquely positioned to capitalize on this massive shift by providing the much-needed hub for marketing in these fragmented media channels.' The company's home page is at www.webtrends.com .
