Brief Court Appearance for Cathy Marlow Accused

The man accused of murdering Research Now Finance Manager Cathy Marlow appeared briefly today at London's Old Bailey. US citizen Matthew Fagan entered a plea, the case for which will be heard on June 29th. One count of burglary was added to the murder charge.

31-year-old Fagan was charged with the murder on January 29, two weeks after Cathy Marlow was found dead in the shower of the panel firm's south London offices, since vacated for new premises. The post-mortem showed New Zealander Marlow had been asphyxiated.

Fagan, who used to work in the same building, has been refused bail due to a perceived risk he might flee. Today's appearance in the Central Criminal Court was basically just an opportunity for the plea to be entered, and to register the additional charge which includes a number of laptop computers.
