IAG Hires to Grow Restaurant Research Division

TV ad assessment firm IAG Research has hired R. Daniel Dahlen as Executive Vice President of its newest division, the Restaurant Business Group.

Dahlen was previously Chief Marketing Officer at southern restaurant chain Shoney's LLC, and before that a Senior Partner and Group Management Director at J. Walter Thompson Company, working on a number of consumer accounts. Other previous employers include Rockett, Burkhead and Winslow, Meldrum & Fewsmith Communications, Inc., Publicis & Hal Riney in Chicago, and Wendy's International Inc. where he played a leading role in the 'Where's the Beef?' campaign.

Dahlen has served on the Board of Governors for the American Association of Advertising Agencies, and holds a BA in Journalism and Advertising from Ohio University.
