Ipsos Hires Global HR and Loyalty Leaders

Ipsos has appointed former AOL Time Warner HR professional, Lisiane Droal as Global HR Executive VP, and former ACNielsen Executive Tom Markert as CEO for Ipsos Loyalty.

Droal joins Ipsos in Paris to take charge of all HR issues including recruitment, compensation and benefits, development and training and performance management. She also joins the Executive Committee of the Ipsos Management Board.

With an HR background spanning 23 years, Droal was HR Director at Apple Europe and Netscape before the latter's acquisition. At buyer AOL Time Warner she was VP, Organisation Development and Employee Communications, responsible for development, training and internal communications strategies across Europe.

Ipsos Co-President Didier Truchot explained: 'Lisiane has extensive experience in international matrixed and results-oriented corporate environments. Her hands-on expertise covers areas like compensation and benefits to strategic deployment of customer strategies through human resources policy internationally.'

Markert, who joins the Parsippany, NJ office, spent seventeen years with ACNielsen, recently as Group Chief Executive – Pacific; Chief Marketing Officer - Asia Pacific; and President of ACNielsen - Canada. Previously he worked for Citicorp and Procter & Gamble.

Henri Wallard, Joint CEO of Ipsos and Chairman of Ipsos Loyalty, welcomed Markert's 'deep understanding of Loyalty and CRM, and an international perspective gained through working in various parts of the world, including Asia and North America.'
