Ugam to Open London CATI Centre

June 20 2007

Mumbai-based research and data analytics firm Ugam Solutions is planning to open a London operations centre in mid-August, from which it will offer multi-lingual project management and data collection services.

The firm is in the process of recruiting a UK market research team who will conduct international B2B and medical research using CATI, online and mixed-mode methodologies. In addition, the firm says that its new site will act as a 'Centre of Excellence', for training and managing data collection teams in India and beyond.

Co-founder & CEO, Sunil Mirani explained that the London centre will provide clients with a full menu of research services, including multi-lingual data collection which he said was previously a missing element.

Executive Vice President, Gregg Peterson added: 'There is no better place than London to find native speakers from every point in the globe and the experienced marketing research pros to manage them.'

Ugam will continue to conduct English language B2B and consumer work from its 150 seat CATI centre in Mumbai. The two centres will use the same software, training and process standards, and the company plans to appoint a single point of contact who will co-ordinate and recruit for client projects.

The firm, which employs more than 800 employees in Mumbai, San Francisco and Chicago and offers a range of data collection, data management, analytics and IT services to the MR industry, is online at www.ugamsolutions.com .
