Research Now Adds Online Groups

July 2 2007

Panels provider Research Now has launched a multi-country online qual focus group facility, offering clients online groups in a chat-room-style environment similar to that seen in online communication tools such as MSN Messenger and Skype.

The facility will use the firm's family of 24 proprietary online panels across Europe, North America and Australasia, providing access to over 1.5 million active panellists globally.

Research Now says the advantages of the new system include lack of travelling; flexibility of scheduling – with the possibility of multiple groups across several cities, countries, or even continents in a matter of days; cost savings; engagment with respondents 'in an increasingly-familiar environment where text-type communication and social networking are becoming the norm'; and possibilities for presenting a variety of video, audio, print and online stimuli in an environment where multimedia is the norm.

Research Now, with eleven offices In Europe, Australia and North America, is an independent public company quoted on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange and is online at www.researchnow.com .
